Level pt 1


Trying to maintain working on the re-write of my game every week so development progress smoothly. Done with Intermission scene, so working on level scene now. So far happy with the progress. Most basic items are in and working, including the lighting effects. This time when the Entry Door shuts it reduces a large circular light which is a better effect i think than the previous version where it just reduced the screen alpha evenly until everything was black. I also hooked in the Player Data to the UI components at the top of the screen (floor number, coins and portrait). I will still need to hook into the events (such as when a coin is grabbed updating the coin count), however that will be a later goal. Next up I think is creating actual player controller (and enemy controller). I'm either going to buy an asset to do the hard work for me, or create my own using tutorials (quite a few out there i think). Thanks for checking it out. I expect within the next couple of weeks I'll be able to upload a playable alpha version.
